Stella Residence

This 1990’s colonial provided plenty of space for this growing family was looking for, but was lacking in style. These keen home buyers knew with their great eye for design they could update it to be their new suburban oasis.  Not many clients ask us for a smaller master bathroom, but the Stella’s did and their reasoning made a lot of sense and a huge impact. The existing enormous master suite included and oversized master bath, large walk in closet and an office space. By relocating the master bath to the office space (there was already another office space on the first floor) we were able to remove the master bath and closet in order to create 2 story great room with a coffered ceiling. The new master closet & dressing areas with custom cabinetry and decorative lighting were tucked behind a newly constructed floating bed wall.

The new master bath’s focus is the sleek freestanding tub, it stands out from the full wall of dark tile. The wall not only helps accent the tub but also houses a large walk in shower and toilet room. Another special feature of this bathroom is the decorative lighting, the contemporary styling of the pendant fixtures add light and elegant quality to this spa like space.

New trim & millwork in the foyer and living room transformed this ordinary home to something exceptional. The homeowner selected a paint palette of blues and greens that are accented by the fresh white trim and the new dark stained wood floor.
